Use this journal with students and kids conducting experiments. As they fill out the boxes, students will get a better understanding of the scientific method. The process of the scientific method involves making conjectures (hypotheses), deriving predictions from them as logical consequences, and then carrying out experiments or empirical observations based on those predictions. Students are guided step-by-step through the process of choosing a scientific topic, conducting broad research, completing a specific experiment, and finding a conclusion.
