They teach reading through 3 Letter Word Families, Long Vowel Word Families, and Common Exceptions (Sound Exceptions, Digraphs, Blends, and Controlled R Words).The Author, Heather Ross, has a Masters in Elementary Education from UCLA and a Bachelors of Arts from UC Berkeley. She also has teaching credentials in both California and Ontario, Canada. She was a teacher and is a mother of three children.
