Anti-Semitism and the Holocaust
This title covers the origins of anti-Semitism from the nineteenth century, and traces the events that took place in Germany from 1933 to 1945. The anti-Semitic views of Hitler are analysed as is the means by which these views shaped the racial state in the Third Reich. The impact of the Second World War and the events which led ultimately to the Final Solution are then assessed. All of these events are also considered within the wider historiographical debates which have surrounded this period of history, from questions on who should ultimately bear the blame, to issues of Holocaust denial.
