"This man, in addition to committing the crime of healing the ill, is also the author of a book entitled The Perfect Matrimony, which is an outrage against public morality and the good customs of the citizens." So stated the official document demanding the arrest and imprisonment of Samael Aun Weor. So began his diary written from prison, in which he documented his meditations and insights, and the process of spiritual initiation related to his imprisonment. This book is full of details about dream interpretation, meditation, degrees of initiation, the awakening of the sacred fire, and much more. Most significantly, he emphasized the necessity for spiritual aspirants to consume blessed food and drink at home, that sacred meal known in every religion by names like communion, eucharist, kiddush, tsog, prasad, etc. He also provided a complete ritual for families to practice at home around their dinner table, to invoke the help of the supreme savior known as Christ, Avalokitesvara, Quetzalcoatl, etc. Thus, instead of being cowed by the attempts of the dominate religions to suppress him, they served to increase his efforts to help humanity, resulting in this beautiful and deeply mystical book. "The Holy Eucharist should be practiced in the houses of all our Gnostic brothers and sisters... Thus, each home can become a Gnostic temple, and the head of each family is a priest. No more lodges, no more schools, no more sects, no more infamies, no more exploitation! The temple is within ourselves, and the High Priest is Christ... When a group of people around a table are verifying the Holy Eucharist, the ceremony reverberates in all the seven planes of cosmic consciousness, and opens a channel through the seven worlds through which the sublime energies of the Solar Logos descend: and thus the bread and wine become true accumulators of Christic atoms, which upon reaching our stomach are diffused throughout our organism, Christifying and sublimating it for the initiation." --Samael Aun Weor

In her Introduction the author traces her spiritual adventure from the early days of her teen-age practise of contemplation. The relaxation sessions with which each day began at Speech Therapy College began her formal training. A member of the C of E, she had a spiritual director from the Community of the Resurrection in Mirfield, and stayed at the enclosed Convent of the Incarnation in Oxford. After a theology course at College of Ascension Birmingham she sailed for India in 1964. There she was introduced to to the Abhishiktananda Society which promoted Hindu-Christian dialogue. After attending the Inauguration of the Church of North India she visited Gandh-ji's ashram at Sevagram and Vinoba Bhave's ashram not far away. In both of these ashrams the day began before dawn with silent meditation in a dark room lit by a single candle. She was privileged to attend a question/answer session with Vinoba Bhave himself. During those years she read the Upanishads and came to accept the belief in non-duality, advaita, without this in any way compromising her faith in Christ. In 1977 she married Salman Hashmi of the Muslim community and they had a son and a daughter. By the 1990's she was studying New Age methods of meditation, and this Diary is a record of the extraordinary results.

We try to escape from the play of life and the suffering that being "a person in the world" entails. Our efforts to find spiritual enlightenment have the opposite effect and reinforce an underlying feeling of lack, of separation. In Life Without a Centre, Jeff Foster suggests that there is only ever the present appearance of life, with no individual at its core who could ever escape even if they wanted to. The entire spiritual search is nothing more than a game we play with ourselves, the cosmic entertainment. Jeff cuts through the confusion and frustration surrounding the search for escape through spiritual enlightenment, by pointing to the utterly obvious: This moment, and everything that arises in it, is already the liberation that is sought. Life, just as it is, is already what we've been searching for our entire lives. Jeff Foster graduated in astrophysics from Cambridge University. Soon after graduation, life events propelled him onto an intense two-year spiritual search, culminating in the realisation that there was never anything to find in the first place. He currently writes and talks on what some people have called "non-duality," but which he just refers to as "the utterly, utterly obvious."

In this cornerstone work, Samael Aun Weor explains in clear terms the entire basis of all esoteric work: Kabbalistic symbology. This is the language of the Internal Worlds. "In these studies of Kabbalah, we need to be practical; there are authors who write marvels, but when one looks at them, one realizes that they have not lived what they have written; they did not experience it in themselves, and that is why they are mistaken. I understand that one must write what one has directly experienced by oneself. I have proceeded in this way on my part." This book is no mere repetition of what others have written: it is the direct experience of the author. This revolutionary work examines the Tarot and Kabbalah as never before, with brilliant revelations about the mysterious sphere of Daath, whose true nature was never before discussed publicly. In Five Parts: 1: Description and Study of the Esoteric Tarot 2: Initiation through the Arcana of the Tarot 3: The Kabbalah 4: Numerology and Esoteric Mathematics 5: Predictive Kabbalah
