Once upon a time there was a little girl called Alexandra who asked her daddy, "Daddy, please tell me a stoooweee". Well this is my story on how I created thousands of children stories. These stories come from a world where animals of all kinds all talk and learn, like children, about life. Around the age of three my daughter got tired of me reading little kiddy stories and asked me "Daddy, please tell me a stoooweee". So every night I would make up a new short story. One day, when she was 7 years old, I decided to tape these stories so she could hear them over and over. Well that went on for 7 more years with over 110 hours and over 3,000 stories. There are so many stories that I will have to write many more volumes. So here we are, the first book is published and now kids all over the world can enjoy them as my daughter did for many years. The time you spend with your child is most rewarding. Never get tired of loving, kissing and hugging them, no matter how old they get. Please view the book website by Clicking here. Father Robert Hater strongly believes that ?story without basic belief lacks direction, and basic belief without story is lifeless.? He illustrates this relationship between story and Catholic belief with sensitive and powerful narratives, including the account of his own mother's death and its impact on him. This is an invaluable resource for anyone involved in conveying the story of Jesus and the church: pastors, homilists, catechetical leaders, catechists and teachers, parish ministers, and families, as well as all who wish to find God in their own stories.

Most children love to hear stories, especially at bedtime. The favorite story of my two sons was told them by their father, over and over again, of which they never tired: HOW HE CAME OVER TO AMERICA FROM SCOTLAND ON A BIG BOAT. My purpose in writing this story now, of my voyage to Africa on a freighter, is that my grandchildren and great grandchildren might enjoy hearing of some of my experiences, which in the providence of God, have taken place in my life. Some statistics and a little information was acquired from the library before leaving for the various countries. This has been interwoven in my travelogue all of which was written on board ship.

Will Alexander is on a journey of the heart and soul, searching for something elusive, something missing from his life—something obscured by the chaotic circumstances of his life and the mists of uncertainty. Blind to obvious truths, he is unable to see clearly what that elusive something is or where it may be found. He is on a perilous odyssey, cast toward an unknown destiny at the mercy of fate and chance. Having dropped out of university, he is an unlikely member of the Dark Angels, an outlaw motorcycle club in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Contending with violence in the streets and at home, and in conflict with the law, he is driven ultimately to a decision, an inflection point, that will define the remainder of his life. Twenty years later, the nature and direction of his journey begin to come into sharper resolution. He comes to see what he must do to find what has been missing over most of his lifetime—to fill the void in his life and finally give it a completeness he did not fully comprehend it lacked. This takes him from Nova Scotia to the other side of the world. An expansive, spellbinding tale of generational mythology, the mysterious dance of fate and chance, and the circumstances and decisions that shape us, The Eyes of Bats concludes the multi-generational family saga begun by the author in his novel All the Stars in the Sky. These two novels give voice to themes of tragedy, struggle, hope, redemption, and triumph.
