Heaven on earth is a reality that defies description and even belief at times. Yet all who have fallen in love, felt deep wonder, or witnessed what could only be classified as a miracle can attest to its presence. Unfortunately, that presence is all too often only fleeting. What if it didn’t have to be so? What if it was possible to sustain the experience of heaven on earth? This book suggests four keys to doing so, each forged by and for a love that challenged the author to remain awake to the presence of heaven on earth that love had awakened.

Living simply isn’t always simple. When Alan Boye first lived in sustainable housing, he was young, idealistic, and not much susceptible to compromise—until rattlesnakes, black widow spiders, and loneliness drove him out of the utilities-free yurt he’d built in New Mexico. Thirty-five years later, he decided to try again. This time, with an idealism tempered by experience and practical considerations, Boye and his wife constructed an off-the-grid, energy-efficient, straw bale house in Vermont. Sustainable Compromises chronicles these two remarkable attempts to live simply in two disparate American eras. Writing with hard-won authority and humor, Boye takes up the “how-to” practicalities of “building green,” from finances to nuts and bolts to strains on friends and family. With Walden as a historical and philosophical touchstone and his own experience as a practical guide, he also explores the ethical and environmental concerns that have framed such undertakings from Thoreau’s day to our own. A firsthand account of the pleasures and pitfalls of living simply, his book is a deeply informed and engaging reflection on what sustainability really means—in personal, communal, ethical, and environmental terms.

As we strive for good, through our fear and sense of lack, we inadvertently give power to a coalition that infuses cultures in a philosophy of eternal conflict and domination as a means of preserving civic order, that is controlled by promises of greater good while guiding policies and actions protect and produces a world of haves and have-nots. The deeper impulse of the Soul to thrive and transform itself into loving is an eternal force and is unstoppable in the long run. Though ominous, these times embody a great opportunity for humanity to change the narrative. To do so we need to rise above the inversion layer of shadows into transcendent realms and resources. Prophecy portends a “new day and new dawn.” We are that promise. We live in a time that invites a vision for humanity and leadership based on integrity and spiritual awakening. Remember. As we incarnate into the human condition, the most essential and most forgotten element of life for each of us is that we are the ones that bring love. In our first breath, we encounter an overwhelming challenge to identify with the world in which we find ourselves and forget the world of love from whence we came. I invite you to engage in an exploration of Self that is continuous and reveals the truth of life without fear, inspired by Soul and guided by love. Consider perhaps that the promise of a “new day and new dawn” refers simply to a change of heart. Transcendental Leadership occurs when we connect to our visionary nature, awaken to an integral perspective, and apply our greater virtue and spiritual depth in response to the challenges and callings of life.

This book is intended to open a dialogue on God's plan for mankind at the beginning of creation and how we can enjoy life to the fullest despite the tragedies we see in the paper, on the news or in our own personal experiences. Some may question how to find joy in a world full of violence, but let this book be a guide to sustain a positive attitude in a troubled world by understanding God's master plan. Based on multiple references from the Holy Bible, and the adoption of a mindset that desires to see beauty in an ugly world, my prayer is that you will become empowered to experience Heaven on Earth. This book will share the secrets of God's master plan from the beginning of creation and dispute a world philosophy that it's impossible to be joyful on a daily basis.

Sepher Rezial Hemelach is the longawaited first English translation of this famous magical text a translation from the ancient Hebrew in the rare and complete 1701 Amsterdam edition. According to Hebrew legend, the Sepher Rezial was presented to Adam in the Garden of Eden, given by the hand of God, and delivered by the angel Rezial. The myth thus suggests that this is the first book ever written, and of direct divine provenance. A diverse compendium of ancient Hebrew magical lore, this book was quite possibly the original source for later, traditional literature on angelic hierarchy, astrology, Qabalah, and Gematria. Moses Gaster mentions this in his introduction to The Sword of Moses (1896) suggesting that the Sepher Rezial could be a primary source for many magic and qabalistic books of the Middle Ages. Sepher Rezial Hemelach is a compilation of five books: "The Book of the Vestment," "The Book of the Great Rezial," "The Holy Names," "The Book of the Mysteries," and "The Book of the Signs of the Zodiac." It includes extensive explanatory text on the holy names of God, the divisions of Heaven and Hell, the names and hierarchy of the angels and spirits, as well as symbolic interpretations of both the Book of Genesis and Sepher Yetzirah. It also includes material on astronomy, astrology, gematria, and various magical talismans, most notably those used for protection during childbirth. In his introduction, Steve Savedow details the history, bibliographical citations, and lineage of this famous work. He lists the old and rare manuscripts still in existence, and provides a bibliography of other reference works for study of the Western esoteric tradition.

Instead, he receives an invitation from a Zen-Christian astronomer-monk to help Greek orphans, in exchange for sublime gifts.
