Step Up, the ultimate guide to stair running, provides both beginner and ambitious runners with comprehensive ideas and suggestions for training. In addition to theoretical knowledge, it includes exercises and practical tips, all illustrated by photos and explanatory videos accessed via QR codes. Included, too, are exercise variations that help runners to push over their training plateaus and progress to the next level. With its strength and coordination exercises and stair jumps, Step Up offers new training incentives for those training for running, endurance, or game sports. The book also includes weekly plans that help structure training, aiding every runner in achieving their goals. As is true with all sports training, athletes cannot reach their potential without working their mental strength. To round out training, this book also addresses motivation and focus, crucial for training runners' mental strength. Interviews and personal insights from author Thomas Dold add a bit of levity, making this book both practical and entertaining for runners.

Produce Yourself! is an empowering and richly layered presentation that seeks to motivate readers to find ways to embody success. The reader will journey through a dancers’ process of creativity thru-the-body, learning the physicality of imagination, and illuminate the art of possibility. Dancers have presence and confidence. The difference between success and near-success is confidence. Produce Yourself! claims that visualizing is not enough to realize goals, and illuminates the act of visceralizing, experiencing a desired outcome (as dancers do) through concentration and intense focus. Included in the book are simple moves and coaching exercises to engage readers in their own process, offering basic elements of ballet which is an athletic art form grounded in action. Stand Up! Be Still. Step Up! Be Connected. Move! Be in Action. This is not a program but more of an interactive system of learning, encouraging readers to: • Put yourself front and center • Embrace yourself, embrace your goals • Take a step - take the next step • Discover the physicality of Focus • Be an instrument for your own creativity • Reach beyond your potential into what is possible • Learn success tools, The 9 C’s: Concentration, Clarity, Commitment, Connection, Coordination, Consistency, Courage, Confidence, Completion • Get out of your own way and be open to succeed “When in doubt, initiate.” —Buddah

As a sports and wellness medicine practitioner whose clients include Olympic and professional athletes, triathletes, and weekend warriors, Dr. Naresh Rao has uncovered the secrets of how and why elite athletes consistently perform at the highest levels. In Step Up Your Game, he reveals what separates the best athletes from the rest of us, despite our best efforts in any chosen sport. According to Rao, top athletes know that peak performance requires much more than consistent practice. He reveals a comprehensive program that takes into account every aspect of optimizing wellness—from monitoring health to improving nutrition, following a thorough training protocol, and developing a plan for recovering from and preventing injury. The mental game is just as important as the physical one; these athletes make sure to address their motivational, psychological, and spiritual needs, too. In short, the athletes who are at the top of their game know that if they want to improve—whether it’s their accuracy at the goal, time at the finish line, or consistency of play—they need to take each of these aspects into consideration every single day. Step Up Your Game reveals how remarkable success is available to athletes with the conviction and desire to improve. By integrating Dr. Rao’s program into an existing fitness routine, readers will take ownership of their training in a systematic way, remove the stress that often hampers outcomes, and—most importantly—begin to fully enjoy their exercise experience as they work to achieve their healthiest selves. A journey is a collaboration and culmination of many steps. Sometimes our steps move us forward or backwards. Sometimes we take steps to the left or to the right. Our goal should be that our steps move us toward a definite destination. We hope that our steps are taking us nearer to that which will make us stronger, better, or even be greater people. As our steps are crucial, our end point is as well. If we want to have the life that God has in store for us, we need to be walking toward Him daily. God has a life of peace and joy for us. Not problem free, but one of peace. Not without tribulations or trouble, but one of triumph. In order for us to possess this life, God has to be our end destination. He has to be the one that we are focusing and He has to be the one that we are depending upon. In order for us to grow in the Lord and step closer to Him, we must be intentional. It would be wonderful if we could just wake up and be spiritually stronger than we have ever been before. But that is not reality. We must be systematic and strategic if we are going to grow in the Lord. This book will help and lead you to grow spiritually. Jesus said, "If we are to follow Him, we are to take up our cross daily." One Step Closer is a tool that will not only strengthen us now it will impact our eternity.

Consider the problem of a robot (algorithm, learning mechanism) moving along the real line attempting to locate a particular point ? . To assist the me- anism, we assume that it can communicate with an Environment (“Oracle”) which guides it with information regarding the direction in which it should go. If the Environment is deterministic the problem is the “Deterministic Point - cation Problem” which has been studied rather thoroughly [1]. In its pioneering version [1] the problem was presented in the setting that the Environment could charge the robot a cost which was proportional to the distance it was from the point sought for. The question of having multiple communicating robots locate a point on the line has also been studied [1, 2]. In the stochastic version of this problem, we consider the scenario when the learning mechanism attempts to locate a point in an interval with stochastic (i. e. , possibly erroneous) instead of deterministic responses from the environment. Thus when it should really be moving to the “right” it may be advised to move to the “left” and vice versa. Apart from the problem being of importance in its own right, the stoch- tic pointlocationproblemalsohas potentialapplications insolvingoptimization problems. Develop the skillset essential to successful securitisation swaps management Securitisation Swaps is a complete practitioner’s guide to this unique and complex class of derivatives. This detailed examination follows the entire life cycle of securitisation swaps to give quants, structurers, traders, originators, issuers and lawyers a common reference for understanding their shared objective. Broad in scope to provide a common-ground perspective — yet detailed enough to promote full understanding — the discussion takes a distinctly cross-disciplinary approach that encompasses the multi-faceted knowledge base required to successfully execute these complex trades. Despite the fact that the size of the market is trillions of dollars in notional principal, securitisation swaps have thus far been neglected in both academic and practitioner literature. The numerous stakeholders that work together on these complex deals will all greatly benefit from a thorough understanding of their underlying risks and gain deep insight into the perspectives of each stakeholder. This invaluable guide provides multi-disciplinary insight that allows practitioners to: Manage securitisation swaps more effectively, from pre-trade structuring and modelling to post-trade risk management and accounting Understand the elements of securitisation and covered bonds, and how swaps mitigate risk in these types of transactions Explore how securitisation swaps differ from other derivatives and delve into their three specific risk factors — swap prepayment risk, swap extension risk and downgrade risk Learn practical methods and strategies of risk management, accounting, pricing and transaction execution When securitisation trades go wrong, they become front-page news — but when each participant understands accurate modelling, risk mitigation, optimal structuring, costs, pricing, commercial backgrounds and other integral practices, they are able to work together to achieve a shared objective. Securitisation Swaps provides the essential knowledge that streamlines and safeguards these important trades.
