The enrolled ccpies are those depos ted in the archives of the State in the Seeretary of State's ofiice. The enrolled ind engrossed copies should be counterparts of each other, but sometimes varia iona occur from clerical errors and omissions. These Acts, printed from the en bossed copies. Have been carefully compared with the enrolled ccpies deposited h the ofiice of the Secretary of State, and any material omissions or variations are Med by enclosing the different reading in brackets. It was thought beat by his Excellency, Governor Slum, on the score of conveni pce and economy, to include the Acts passed at the short session in January, in his compilation, and by his order this has been done.
